A frame of mind

Moving on from the meditative aspects of a Metaphysical Journey to a "new frame of mind", these energetic constructions examine the human form with wheels, windows and canvas stretchers etc.  Yoga works as the ideal metaphor to express the mysteries of the mind, body and space. Cutting out the figures led to a sculpting process, allowing for movement in space.  Experimenting with scale and relating to our place in the cosmos rules out traditional framing, allowing for freedom and the philosophy of "moving on."  Portraying the human form in white accentuates the feeling of simplicity, and the integration of the sculpted bodies with the flat painted surface is yet another challenge.  A Frame of Mind depicts the dream of a life without boundaries.
