portrait VARIATIONS

My main source of expression has always been the human form, with an ongoing focus on portraiture.  Somewhat imposing as subject matter, the personal nature of portraits has made it a challenge for me to find the right balance between technical skill and imaginative vision.  I enjoy using mixed media in new combinations, and the outer edges of the works (framed or without a frame) are a major consideration.
